My Angkor Trip

Well....I didn't go to Angkor recently but I just got the photos from the trip so I feel like sharing :P
By the way, for those who don't know where Angkor is or even what is it (believe me there are ppl who never heard of it before!) Angkor is one of the 7 wonders, situated in Siam Reap, Cambodia. Oh and Cambodia is a (third world) country next to Thailand..in case u r not good at geography and world map..
Me at MoChit Bus Terminal, taking a bus to Aranyaprathet then cross the border to Poi Pet.
We took a taxi from Poi Pet to Siem Reap..oh my god..what a ride..it'll be my first, last and only experience with this thing..
It took basically a whole day to get to Siem Reap from Poi Pet because the road is very very rough and shitty...
Oh btw, the visa for cambo is on arrival..and I don't remember how much was the taxi, hehe.

Although the trip to Siem Reap was very tough and tiresome but it's very worthwhile once u get to visit Angkor. This archealogical site is large, we bought the 3-day pass in order to see basically almost everything.

One famous architecture here is Bayon style..well i dont know much about history or architecture..all i know is that the rock face thingy that I see almost everywhere in Angkor Thom is called Bayon, hehe.

My favorite ruin is one hour ride from the main site, Banteay Shrei Temple. It is very unique and I think I heard they said that this one took the longest time to finish, too.

The ancient city in the heart of a jungle..
